YEAY! the dress looks sooo pretty on you, i knew ‘twould! i love my book and it graces my kitchen table so any and all visitors know what i’m all about i so enjoyed this post with all the wonderful details of your visit “home,” and i feelya even though i live in basically my “hometown,” i am familiar with that aching loss that accompanies life and time passing. i love those moments because to me it means you’ve become unstuck in time so to speak and you are so alive and open to everything and spanning the years from childhood to semi-grownupness in one moment.

oh and by the way you can totally be an honorary beatty sister. hope we can hang out again soon, and your dad was a true gent as is obvious in his sunbonnet phote!
