Awakening, Beginning

(Title taken from the March chapter of my favorite herb book Herbal Rituals by Judith Berger)

As I await the delivery of the “dress form” mannequin that I recently ordered from this crazy website (meaning as I await the photographing and uploading of pretty new items into the shop) here are some lovely and inspiring images for you to take a gander at.

These are shots from the first few days of living in our new home (we are loving it here!):

And here are some of my favorite Tumblr shots of the week:

Now this looks like a happy home. I’m so glad for you guys :)

And yes, the Discovery Museum, let’s do it! That would be so much fun and we’ve never been. Tried to go with my sister-in-law and Clover’s cousins last summer but got all the way down there to discover that we picked the one weekday it was closed, such a bummer.

Also, no, I’m not on Tumblr, but I keep meaning to start one up, I really should do that.

Hope you guys are enjoying this lovely weekend!

i spy mycie wearing the yellow and green sundress–yay!

the vintage smoky the bear linen is tripping me out–i recently found one while thrifting but passed on it (thrifting regret), then kara brought one in to sell (she doesn’t thrift where i found the other one)at the shop (it sold), and you have one, too. it’s like an explosion of vintage forest fire prevention (and perfectly timed for spring/summer, too).

your new place looks idyllic, lovely. i hope you are having the firsts of many happy times there.
